Welcome to our June net worth update. In one word, wow! What a month. It did, however, start off on a scary note. My daughter on the first day of summer break hit the beach with her girlfriends. A few hours in we received a call that she dislocated her shoulder. A small moment of panic, a trip to the ER, an x-ray, and all is okay.
She took on a big wave and lost. Her shoulder went back into place on its own. She has been wearing a sling, and with a few weeks of physical therapy, she’ll be back to normal. Not the greatest way to kick things off, but it could have been worst.
I don’t think I have ever checked the weather reports more than the two weeks leading up to the twins prom, graduation ceremony, and party. The rain was in the forecast it seems like every other day, but other than a passing shower on prom night, the weather was perfect for all events.
Everything went off without a hitch. Well, expect for my son’s bow tie and the size of his head. He never checked to see if it would fit, and the tie was stitched. With a little help from money and a safety-pin, all was resolved. Prom was great. We went to a friend’s house for pictures with a large group who were whisked away in thirty passenger party bus.
Youth is on their Side.
